About Me
Mehedi Hasan, a passionate water research enthusiast from Bangladesh, has been a graduate research assistant at the Biorefining Research Institute (BRI), Lakehead University, Ontario, Canada, since May 2024. His research focuses on environmental remediation, pollution monitoring, thermochemical biomass conversion, wastewater treatment, waste management, and recycling. He holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from BUET (2021) and a B.Sc. in Leather Engineering from KUET (2018). Previously, he worked as a research assistant at ITN-BUET, specializing in water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) research. Mehedi is an active member of several professional organizations, including ISWA, IWA, and CIWEM. He is a travel enthusiast, and his hobbies include reading books and cooking.
