About Me

Mubasshir Tahmid brings the experience of working in leading organizations in the development sector and social innovation ecosystem. Prior to joining Tetra full-time, he worked in BRAC where he served in the Rohingya camps to deliver critical WASH solutions in the humanitarian context, worked in BRAC Microfinance to ensure financial inclusion for most marginalised communities, and worked in the BRAC Social innovation lab designing and implementing pilots to test out innovations around BRAC’s social enterprises and development programmes. Apart from BRAC, he also worked with the stakeholders in Bangladesh’s start-up ecosystem as a national mentor of the Hult Prize Foundation where he trained the student start-ups to turn their innovative ideas into successful business models. Mubasshir is a Global Talent at UNLEASH and one of the Global innovators of Expo Live.
